Ivica Olic says he is contemplating retirment from international football after being ruled out of Euro 2012.
The 32-year-old will miss the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine after suffering a thigh injury in Croatia's 1-1 friendly draw with Norway on Saturday.
"It's hard to say whether I will never play for Croatia again. But that seems to be the natural course of things," he told Sportske Novosti.
Olic's injury will sideline him for about four to six weeks and thus will miss what would have likely been his last major tournament.
After his recovery, Olic, who will leave Bayern Munich for Wolfsburg in July, said that he would like to fully concentrate on his new club and then decide whether he will ever play for Croatia again.
