OLYROO defender Trent McClenahan has been offered a new one-year deal with Hamilton Academical as he prepares for surgery.
McClenahan was playing through the pain barrier during the final few weeks of the SPL season but with the campaign now over, he is set fora double hernia operation.
However, his performances since joining the club from Hereford United have been sufficiently impressive to see him offered a new 12-month deal, according to the Glasgow Evening Times.
He helped his club to a ninth place finish in the SPL this year after returning fom the Beijing Olympics in August.
