THE Olyroos behind-closed-doors training match against Singapore has been cancelled today due to bad weather at Gosford's Bluetongue Stadium.
Aurelio Vidmar's Olyroos squad had assembled in Gosford on Friday, as they prepare for their upcoming Olympic qualifiers against Yemen.
But heavy rain had lashed the Central Coast on Sunday forcing the game to be called off, although officials claimed the match could be re-scheduled depending on weather and ground conditions.
The Olyroos, who lost 3-1 to Japan last week, are due to play Yemen next Sunday at Bluetongue Stadium, before the return leg four days later which will be played in Newcastle.
Victory over Yemen will see the Olyroos progress into the third round of qualifying, where all 12 second round winners are divided into three groups of four teams each.
The winners of those groups, following games played between September 2011 and March 2012, will qualify for the 2012 London Olympics.
