The Olyroos shocked tournament hosts Thailand with a come-from-behind 2-1 win in Bangkok. There are still things to work on, but that result puts Australia in a more comfortable position to make the quarter-finals.
Nick D'Agostino - 7.5
Who saw a brace coming from this man? The player with the least amount of gametime in the whole squad came up trumps with two great goals.
Daniel Bouman - 6
Bouman had a one-on-one chance go begging early in the match. It was Australia's only shot on goal until D'Agostino's equaliser.
Jacob Italiano - 6
Many highly anticipated Italiano's start against Thailand. Unfortunately, while he looked dangerous at times, he didn't live up to the hype.
Reno Piscopo - 7
Another great performance from Piscopo. He won the ball in midfield and sped away to set up the first goal before chipping over a Thai defender for Gersbach to set up the second.
SUBSTITUTES
Denis Genreau - 7.5
Genreau was very clearly the catalyst for Australia's re-energised second half. He steadied the midfield, increased the tempo and kept things under control. He certainly didn't look 20-years old with that performance.
Al-Hassan Toure - 6
The Adelaide United forward had another goal chalked off for a foul in build-up, with the same thing happening in the 1-1 opener against Iraq. The poor guy can't catch a break.
Ramy Najjarine - N/A
