AUSSIES ABROAD: Shane Lowry saw red in Millwall’s 6-0 thrashing at the hands of promotion candidates Birmingham City.
The Aston Villa-loanee was given his marching orders following an off-the-ball incident with Nikola Zigic on twenty-two minutes. Millwall were trailing 1-0 before Chris Hughton’s men went on to add five more goals after Alan Dunne was dismissed in the 57th minute.
Millwall manager Kenny Jacket wasn’t too happy with either decision,"Shane's sending off looked a harsh decision to me and Alan's, which I had a better view of, I couldn't really see where it came from to be honest.”
Elsewhere in the Championship, after being handed a start in Hull City’s FA Cup tie at home to Ipswich, Richard Garcia was left out of the squad's 1-0 win over Peterborough at KC Stadium.
