SOCCEROOS coach Holger Osieck gave home fans their first close-up look at his attacking brand of football in Saturday's 1-0 win over Paraguay and later promised there's more to come.

In stark contrast to the dour playing style they endured under Pim Verbeek, Australia played two men up front and attacked at every opportunity in a bright and entertaining performance that left players and the 25,000-strong crowd excited about the side's future under the new boss.
A David Carney goal proved the difference against the South Americans but the hosts could quite easily have scored two or three more goals such was their superiority.
Osieck has now chalked up two wins and a draw in his first three matches while indicating the Socceroos are still very much a work in progress and will get decidely better once he settles on combinations.
"I think the boys performed very well," he said. "We tried to play positively and created a lot of opportunities.
"Chances occurred and now we have to work on the final touch.
"I am pleased with what I saw. It's a compact unit."
Osieck paired Josh Kennedy and Tim Cahill up front and the two caused Paraguay problems all night.
Midfielders Mile Jedinak and Jason Culina, who was kept in shackles during the Verbeek era, were superb while the back four encountered few problems.
Osieck was particularly enamoured with the work done off the ball.
"If you don't have the players in front of the ball who make the runs, then you have no passing options for the men on the ball," he pointed out.
"Then there is no support and your game becomes a stereotype - and that is what I don't want to see.
"My first demand is I want to see off the ball movement so we have options."
Osieck was again diplomatic when questioned about his team's obvious enjoyment at being able to express themselves after being tied down by Verbeek's conservative and rigid format.
"You have to ask the players (if they are enjoying it more). I would never look back because I was not involved and had no clue about things that happened," he said.
"What I see is what I ask from the players. So far I've got it and I hope it will carry on and improve."
Australia's next assignment will be away to Egypt next month in the final friendly before the squad for January's Asian Cup is announced.
