ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE
HARRY KEWELL
He's back - officially! Rafa Benitez surprised many by starting Harry on the bench...and then brought him into the action for the last 13 minutes, replacing Gonzalez on the left wing. It wasn't enough to secure a win for the Scousers though, going down in a shock 1-0 loss to 10-men Fulham. Full story here.

LUCAS NEILL
West Ham's amazing drive for Premiership survival continued with a cracking 3-1 win over Bolton. Lucas played the whole game and helped keep Bolton out of contention. It's all here.

MARK VIDUKA
MARK SCHWARZER
BRAD JONES
Dukes did it again with a goal after 29 minutes, backed by a successful Schwarzer shutout and Jones on the bench - but they may have condemned a couple of Socceroo teammates to next season in the Championship. Find out more here.

BRETT EMERTON
Emerton helped pour more misery on Newcastle's dismal season by protecting his side's 2-0 win and a possible place in Europe. Rovers now sit comfortably mid-table while United - even with Michael Owen back in the starting line-up - are only just out of the relegation danger zone. We have all the action here.

JOHN FILAN
JOSIP SKOKO
It's not looking good for Wigan next season. Fulham's win against Liverpool, West Ham's win against Bolton and their loss against Middlesbrough have conspired to push them into the relegation zone with only one game remaining...and they need West Ham to lose in their final match. Emerton played the whole game but could do nothing to save his side. Filan stayed on the bench. Read more here.

CRAIG MOORE
Never even made it onto the bench for Newcastle as his side went down 2-0 at home to Blackburn. More here.

TIM CAHILL
He might not yet even be a feature on the bench but Everton still managed to walk away with all three points after a solid 3-0 win against Portsmouth and Europe now beckoning them. Details here.

AHMED ELRICH
Injured and according to au.fourfourtwo.com’s infamous rumour mill, the subject of plenty of speculation as to where he will end up next season! But Fulham did fine without him, notching up an impressive win against Liverpool. Get the match report here.

ADAM FEDERICI
Watched from the bench as his side suffered an embarrassing 2-0 loss to Watford. Royals fans won't care though - they're staying up while Watford go down next season. They may have missed out on Europe next year though. Find out more here.

ITALIAN SERIE A
MARK BRESCIANO
Bresciano had to watch unused from the bench as his side went down 2-1 at home against Roma. We have all the match details here.

VINCE GRELLA
Parma were plunged back into relegation crisis when they went down 1-0 to fellow strugglers Chievo Verona. Grella didn't get a game though. There's more here.

ZELJKO KALAC
Kalac again felt the glory, albeit on the bench, as his side beat Manchester United during the week and he was on the bench again as Milan couldn't find a way past Fiorentina at home, even with a Kaka penalty. Match report here.

DUTCH EREDIVISIE
JASON CULINA
PSV Eindhoven won the Eredivisie by the slimmest of margins last week with a 5-1 thrashing of Vitesse to top the league by just one goal’s difference ahead of Ajax.

LUKE WILKSHIRE
FC Twente are in the play-offs for a Champions League place against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday morning, with the second leg on Sunday.

EDDIE BOSNAR
Heracles will be glad their season is now over after last weekend’s 7-0 thrashing at the hands of Roda. They finished mid-table.

BRETT HOLMAN
Has been sidelined at NEC with an ankle injury so will probably miss their home and away fixtures against Sparta on May 10 with the second leg on May 13.

BUNDESLIGA
MICHAEL BEAUCHAMP
JOSHUA KENNEDY
DEAN HEFFERNAN
MATTHEW SPIRANOVIC
Beauchamp was lucky to escape a penalty call but that wasn't good enough for his side to dodge defeat. He and Spiranovic were the only Aussies to feature and played the whole game, with Beauchamp picking up a booking along the way. Find out more here.

SWISS SUPER LEAGUE
MILE STERJOVSKI
SCOTT CHIPPERFIELD
Basel closed in on Zurich with a win in their match while Zurich just drew. Sterjovski played for 72 minutes before being replaced while Chipperfield featured for the whole game. Read more here.

DANISH SAS-LIGAEN
DAVE WILLIAMS
Mid-table Brondby play away against Nordsjaelland in the early hours of Monday morning, coming off the back of a 2-1 home win against Esbjerg last weekend.

NORWEGIAN PREMIER LEAGUE
SHANE STEFANUTTO
KASEY WEHRMAN
Kasey Wehrman hit an equaliser for Lillestrom during the week as his team beat off Lyn Oslo.

SPANISH LIGA BBVA
JOHN ALOISI
Our #15 was this week linked with Queensland Roar but he is also keen to stay in Spain. However, his side went down 2-1 at home to Las Palmas overnight despite taking an early lead after nine minutes. Las Palmas equalised 20 minutes later but the winner came just two minutes before the final whistle. Aloisi - with his mind on other things perhaps - didn't even make the bench.

TURKISH SUPERLIG
SIMON COLOSIMO
MICHAEL PETKOVIC
Colosimo’s found a new home at Sivasspor as he tries to keep himself fit for a possible Socceroo place at the Asian Cup. He collected a yellow card in the 66th minute in last weekend’s 1-0 loss to Besiktas and another one on Friday night as they went down 2-0 to Trabzonspor, but both Aussies played the full game. Match report here.

ROMANIAN DIVIZIA A
JONATHAN MCKAIN
JOHN WAYNE SRHOJ
Poli Timisoara beat Jiul Petrosani 1-0 overnight but neither Aussie could find goal, leaving it to teammate Canu to get the winner.

JAPANESE J-LEAGUE DIVISION TWO
ALVIN CECCOLI
Avispa Fukuoka won 2-0 at home against Shonan Bellmare on Thursday night to top the Japanese J2 League, ahead on goal difference from Montedio Yamagata. Their next game is against Kyoto Purple Sanga on May 13. Hopefully Ceccoli may get a game, unlike recent matches.

CHINESE SUPERLEAGUE
RYAN GRIFFITHS
Liaoning FC stopped Sydney’s ACL rivals Shanghai Shenhua in their domestic campaign, beating them 1-0 at home, but Griffiths didn't make it onto the scoresheet, XinXin getting the winner after four minutes. Details here.

ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP
JAMES WESOLOWSKI
PATRICK KISNORBO
PAUL HENDERSON
DANNY TIATTO
Not a game the Aussie Foxes will want to remember. Henderson stayed on the bench and Kisnorbo earned two yellow cards and was sent off after 62 minutes. Tiatto picked up a yellow and was replaced after 80, and while Wesolowski played the full match, he couldn't stop a Wolves onslaught, with Leicester going down 4-1 at home.

NEIL KILKENNY
Birmingham City are guaranteed promotion to the Premiership next month but Kilkenny didn't even make it onto the bench against eighth-placed Preston. It's January since he last made a City appearance. City fell at the final hurdle in their bid to be Championship champions, losing 1-0 at Preston and allowing Sunderland to take the title. We've got all the action here.

CHRIS COYNE
Coyne's head injury last week left him a doubt to start but he lined up for kick-off - but it was a horror match for Luton. Already certainties for relegation, they faced Sunderland who were in pursuit of a championship title...and thumped Luton 5-0 to seal it. Find out more here.

HAYDEN FOXE
Leeds were away to Derby this weekend and Foxe made the starting line-up but only lasted the first half before he was substituted before the restart. Leeds had already been docked 10 points for going into administration on Friday - and this latest 2-0 loss ensured they were bottom of the league. There's more on it here.

RICHARD GARCIA
Garcia played the whole game for Colchester at home to Crystal Palace but got beaten 2-0, wrecking their chances of a play-off place and their dreams of Premiership football next season. More here.

NICK WARD
His loan to Brighton from Queen’s Park Rangers is over after a niggling ankle injury ruled him out of Albion's game against Cheltenham. Now back at QPR, he didn't make it onto the bench for their 1-1 draw with Stoke, ending their play-off hopes. Report here.

ENGLISH LEAGUE ONE
ADAM GRIFFITHS
Terry Butcher’s relegation-bound Brentford couldn't beat Tranmere, going down 3-1 away from home, thanks to a Curran hat-trick. Griffiths played the whole game but picked up the only booking of the match and failed to trouble the scorekeeper.

SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE
SCOTT McDONALD
No game until Tuesday morning for the rising star of Scottish football, when Motherwell travel to Dunfermline – and McDonald will be looking for more goals before his move to Celtic next season.

SCOTTISH LEAGUE ONE
ERIC PAARTALU
The Aussie youngster last weekend won promotion to the Scottish Premier League when his tiny team Gretna sealed it with a win to top Division One. The season’s now over for him and his team though.
