Paartalu told FourFourTwo he has settled in well in his new country.
"I've been here for a week now, my first game is on Saturday," he said.
"I probably won't start as I've not played in a while but it should be a good challenge. It's got fantastic people at the club. A real family feel to it.
"It will be a challenging season ahead but another great adventure to add to the journey."
Paartalu was frozen out at Jeonbuk soon after arriving from Melbourne City. The former A-League grand final winner declined to comment on his tough time in Korea.
Paartalu's new club currently sit in tenth place in the 14-team Qatari competition, with one win and one draw after two rounds. Foreign players in the Qatari Stars League include the likes of Spaniards Xavi, Pablo Hernandez, Sergio Garcia and Chico Flores.
