2004 AFC Young player of the year Park Chu-Young is reportedly a target for a few A-League clubs following Newcastle's signing of Song Jin-Hyung. The 22 year-old FC Seoul playmaker has been repeatedly linked with moves to Europe throughout his career but suffered setbacks in 2006 when he got limited time at the World Cup and was then injured at the beginning of the K-League season. It is believed that Sydney FC, Melbourne Victory, Adelaide United, Perth Glory and Queensland Roar are all involved in the race to sign the Korean.
