Parma have appointed Domenico Di Carlo as their new coach.
Di Carlo succeeds Claudio Ranieri in charge of the Ducale club after the latter left Parma, having guided them to safety in Serie A this season.
Ranieri was recently named the coach of Juventus.
Although Di Carlo has no coaching experience in Italy's top flight, the 43-year-old tactician has made a name for himself after three successful years with Mantova, whom he guided from the third division to the Serie B in his first season in charge.
