Pato, 18, has been given the all-clear to play his first official game for the Rossoneri this weekend.

"I am ready to play," said Pato.

"I am excited at the prospect but I remain calm. I don't feel any pressure. I am adapting well at AC Milan and I am just focusing on training well."

The South American prodigy joined Milan from Internacional in August but as he was only 17 years old at the time, Milan were not allowed to register him in the Italian league.

Non-EU players must be 18 to be granted an Italian registration.

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping Pato will make an immediate impact as the Rossoneri go into Sunday's game desperately looking to clinch their first league win at the San Siro this season.

The Rossoneri trail 25 points behind Serie A leaders Internazionale but have three games in hand.
