Pellegrini feels his side showed enough slick passing in the first leg of the quarter-final to travel to the Emirates Stadium with no fear.

The tie is level at 1-1, with Arsenal holding an away goal, but Pellegrini said: "We are really confident of getting a result. We don't think Arsenal are a better side than us.

"We played with good concentration and had a good match at El Madrigal in the first leg. We should have won but we got a draw.

"We were passing the ball well and there wasn't a lot of difference between the two teams. This will be a 50-50 tie, it will depend on the small details but hopefully we can do it."

Pellegrini has Marcos Senna and Santi Cazorla out but Cani and Mati Fernandez are fit.

"We know he (Senna) is a very, very important player," Pellegrini said.

"We also have Cazorla injured but Arsenal also have players injured. Whoever plays tomorrow will be ready."

Pellegrini's men will be looking for revenge after Arsenal knocked them out of the competition three years ago.

"Our motivation is to beat Arsenal and reach the semi-finals," he said. "They won last time and it would be nice to get the better of them this time."

Midfielder Ariel Ibagaza added: "We are not scared.

"We have respect for Arsenal and know they have very good players in their midfield and forwards but we can qualify if we play our football."
