Villareal C.F. boss Manuel Pellegrini spoke to gathering journalists about his desire to capture the signature of Club Atletico Riverplate's Richard Porta.
Pellegrini indicated that Porta would provide a huge boost to the club and that he will be doing his utmost to persuade the player that his future lies at Villareal.
The yet to be capped Porta has also attracted interested from Mexican side América and Portugese giants FC Porto.
