Socceroos World Cup group rivals Peru have been fined for pointing lasers at New Zealand players during their recent World Cup qualifying match.
FIFA fined the Peruvian Football Association 5000 Swiss Francs ($A6,500) for the November 15 incidents during the match which Peru won 2-0 to secure a place at Russia.
Footage reviewed by a disciplinary committee confirmed a green light flashing on All Whites players including goalkeeper Stefan Marinovic during play.
Peru were also fined 7500 Swiss Francs ($A10 000) for issuing their team sheet late.
Meanwhile, New Zealand were hit with two breaches for a delayed kick-off in the Oceania Nations Cup final in June 2016 and for supporters throwing paper darts during a World Cup qualifier against the Solomon Islands in September.
