AUSTRALIAN goalkeeper Alex Cisak does not appear to be on the transfer list of Peterborough United despite recent speculation linking him with the Championship club.
The Peterborough Telegraph reported last week that Posh had tabled a £350,000 offer for the 23-year-old former Australia youth international, who is currently on the books of League One club Oldham.
Hobart-raised Cisak had said on Twitter he had cut short an off-season holiday to "take care of some business" however Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony cryptically distanced the club from the speculation.
"Just to dispel one current myth, we have not bid for certain league 1 keeper that I keep getting asked about. Hope that clears things up," MacAnthony wrote on Twitter.
Peterborough are in the market for a new goalkeeper after the departures of shot-stoppers Joe Lewis and Paul Jones.
Former Leicester keeper Cisak has a year remaining on his Latics contract, having impressed in 38 appearances last term.
