FORMER Adelaide United target Philani netted a hat-trick as B Binh Duong demonstrated their V-League title credentials with a 4-0 defeat of Boss Binh Dinh on Sunday.
Philani struck either side of half-time before Huynh Quang Tanh netted a third after 68 minutes.
The rout was complete when Philani claimed his third one minute from time as B Binh Duong recorded their 14th win of the campaign.
DT Long An climbed to second place following a 2-0 win over Hoa Phat Ha Noi after XM Hai Phong suffered a sixth loss of the season.
Both of DT Long An's goals came in the opening 22 minutes with Nguyen Minh Phuong and Antonio Carlos on target.
XM Hai Phong fell to a 2-0 defeat away to HA Gia Lai, who scored through Kone Mohamed and Tran Duy Quang.
Elsewhere, Thep MN CSG defeated the Cong Vittel 1-0, DPM Nam Dinh won 2-1 at HN ACB, TCDK SLNA defeated SHB Da Nang 2-0 and K Khanh Hoa drew 1-1 with XMCT Thanh Hoa.
