WELLINGTON Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert insists his team are being made to pay for their inability to put a 90 minute performance together away from Westpac Stadium.
The club's latest road trip ended in a 3-1 defeat by Gold Coast United, although the visitors did see an early goal wiped out.
Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert lamented the disallowed goal call but conceded it wouldn't have changed the outcome.
"We had that goal disallowed which was a goal - I think that is clear now," he said.
"But we just aren't putting 90 minutes together away from home."
