The Socceroos are set to play China in a World Cup qualifier four days later and will conclude a five-day training camp in Singapore with a match against Raddy Avramovic`s side at the National Stadium.

With domestic matches being played on the same weekend across Europe, A-League players will be handed another opportunity to press their claims.

"We want to play as many matches as we can against teams from Asia and, with Singapore also in the process of attempting to qualify for the World Cup, it is a perfect opponent for us," said Verbeek.

"This match will give valuable experience to A-League players and will be another important part of our programme to keep them fit during the off-season.

"Once the match is over I will then decide who will make the final squad for the trip to China."

Australia's squad will be announced next week, with players from Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory set to join up with the party following the Asian Champions League matches on March 19.

Singapore suffered a defeat by Saudi Arabia in their opening World Cup qualifier and will look to bounce back against Lebanon at the National Stadium on March 26.
