Melbourne Victory central defender and former young socceroo Daniel Piorkowski is out of contract in July 2008. So far contract negotiations between Victory and the player have stalled (victory have offered 1 year extension), but the player is after a longer contract term. so far Adelaide Utd, Perth Glory and Miron Bleiberg have signalled their interest, with Adelaide Utd actually making an offer to the player. He wants to stay in Melbourne with family and friends but will find it hard to knock back better offers. a change could be what he needs as his 3 years at Victory have been injury riddled. his agent is also working hard at getting some trials at various european teams across germany, holland, austria and belgium.
