In a marathon Podcast you have to listen to, 442 Publisher Andy Jackson (@Jacko442) predicted a night of high drama, melees, red cards, marquee goals and “a good old fashioned ding-dong” when the A-League’s first Sydney Derby kicks off on Saturday.

Aido (@Aidothe442Ed) tipped a similar scenario in Wellington when Roar come to town for what he believed could be the game of the round.

And he tipped a Sydney FC win in the Sydney Derby.

Meanwhile 442 online editor Kevin Airs (@KevinAirs442) got so worked up over the Socceroos he nearly fell off his seat. He doesn’t hold back does our Kev.

And in a prediction to rival Aido’s Liverpool tip of last week, superstar guest “Walshy” (@swalshy9) said starlet Stephanie Catley would captain the Matildas in the future.

The recently retired Matildas striker also believed  there’ll be loads of feeling in the W-League Sydney derby in round two, adding that a number of Wanderers women will have a point to prove against the Stajcic coached Sky Blues ladies.

She also expressed her deep admiration for the North Korean national women’s team and wondered aloud how she ended up as a winger.

And 442 youth team starlet Matt Wearne (@matt_wearne) underlined his Tommy Oar like potential with a strong performance in the A-League tipping segment.
