STEFAN Majewski has been named as Poland coach for their two remaining World Cup qualifiers.
The 53-year-old will be in charge for the Group 3 matches against the Czech Republic on October 10 and Slovakia four days later.
Majewski replaces Leo Beenhakker who was sacked last week following a 3-0 defeat to Slovenia which ended Poland's hopes of qualifying for the finals in South Africa.
The former Under-23 coach played in two World Cups with Poland, helping them to a third place finish in 1982.
