Brisbane Roar have mutually terminated the contract of Jerome Polenz, effective immediately.
The German-born defender is the latest to exit the A-League outfit following on the heels of Devante Clut, Corona, James Donachie, Henrique and others.
Thx Brisbane & especially the family Broich & Prestipino for a great time.

Now off to new adventures ⚽⚽⚽
The news comes as the embattled club is again under fire for failing to pay club employees on time.
FFA boss David Gallop let his irritation be known telling The Courier Mail: “It’s unacceptable that the Brisbane Roar are once again having issues with the payment of monthly payroll.
“We expect these undertakings to be delivered, and so do the players, coaches, members, sponsors and all in the Roar family.”
Polenz joined Roar from Western Sydney Wanderers mid-way through the 2014/15 season but struggled for game time making just 12 appearances for the club. His departure frees up another visa spot on the club's books.
NEWS | Polenz departs. We would like to thank Jerome for his contribution and wish him good luck in the future.https://t.co/9rMpuombSK
