CHELSEA look to be closing in on their first summer signing after Porto today announced they had agreed terms with the Blues for the sale of Portugal international Jose Bosingwa for a fee of around £16million.
In a statement on the Porto website, www.fcporto.pt, the club announced that the deal for the wing back will be finalised shortly pending a medical.
It read: "FC Porto wishes to inform the market that a deal has been reached in principle with Chelsea for the definitive sale of the rights of Jose Bosingwa for the price of 20.5 million euros.
"The club also announces that the agreement of this transfer will be made formal once the player has passed medical tests."
