The new Sheffield United home and away strips have gone down a treat with fans as the Blades look ahead to the upcoming Premier League season for the first time since 06/07.

The traditional red and white stripes design will continue to be a mainstay of United home kits, with the new strip also featuring a white round-neck collar.

The adidas-manufactured kit bears the hallmark of the famous German sportswear brand, with the famous 3-stripes appearing in black on the tops of the shoulders.

The home and away strips also feature an Australian influence, with primary sponsor Union Standard Group (USG) headquartered in Sydney.

Whilst sponsors’ logos often detract from otherwise impeccable football kits, USG’s front-of-shirt sponsorship manages to compliment the jersey’s red, white and black colour scheme.

Black shorts and red socks complete the Blades’ home kit.

Primarily white, Sheffield United’s away kit for 2019/20 also features a subtle all-over light grey pattern and a red-trimmed v-neck collar.

adidas’ calling card, the iconic 3-stripes design feature, appears this time along the jersey’s sides in red.

Blade's supporters have been raving about the kits on Twitter.

Sheffield United’s opening Premier League fixture is away to Bournemouth on Sunday, August 11.
