SYDNEY FC will likely unveil midfielder Mitchell Prentice next week but it appears the club has already let the cat out of the bag over his capture.
It is no secret the former Perth Glory man has been in talks with the Moore Park outfit but an official announcement had yet to be made.
But a glance at the official club website suggests Mitchell will definitely be swapping Perth purple for Sydney blue next term.
The squad profile section has been updated with John Aloisi, Mark Bridge, Simon Colosimo and Stuart Musialik all listed.
Add to that the name of Prentice who features in the central midfielders section – perhaps a heavy hint of where Kosmina views the 25-year-old’s future role.
Perhaps more of a surprise is Brendan Santalab and Alex Brosque’s listings as left-sided midfielder. Could Kossie be planning a positional switch here as Terry Butcher tried and failed to do with Brosque?
And goals from the boot of Terry McFlynn could be the order of the day in season four as he is listed as an attacking midfielder and Robbie Middleby has moved to rightback from midfield.
When contacted by au.fourfourtwo.com today, Sydney FC would only confirm that an official announcement surrounding Prentice had yet to be made but not whether the former AIS player had put pen to paper at the club.
