PSV Eindhoven were knocked off the top of Holland's Eredivisie after FC Groningen came from behind to condemn them to a 2-1 defeat.
Eduardo Alcides gave the Dutch champions an 18th-minute lead but goals from Rasmus Lindgren (61) and Marcus Berg (76) secured victory for Groningen, who moved to fourth - only five points off new leaders Feyenoord, who posted a 2-0 victory over city rivals Sparta Rotterdam earlier in the day.
Roy Makaay's brace was the difference between the teams, the former Bayern Munich man opening the scoring after four minutes before capping a fine individual display with his second 16 minutes from time.
