Italy take a step away from the traditional blue and white colours
Italy and PUMA have unveiled a commemorative green kit inspired by a jersey the Italians wore 65 years ago in a 2-0 win over Argentina.ย
The kit stands out as it moves away from the traditional blue and white colours the Azzurri are commonly known for and have instead opted for a striking emerald green pattern.
The design is said to be a celebration of the new generation of young stars coming through the Italian ranks with PUMA captioning their unveiling video with the motto 'A New Wave Rises'.

Players such as Nicolo Barella, Nicolo Zaniolo and Federico Chiesa highlight Italy's trust in their younger generation to shine through.
The emerald green is complemented by a navy collar and trims, with a renaissance mosaic pattern seen throughout the design.
Both the PUMA and Italy logos stand out in gold that further gives the kit a classy look.
The kit has received rave reviews on social media.
