The home side started out at $2.50 with Centrebet but the price is now $2.45 with just over 24 hours to kick-off.

Pim Verbeek's Socceroos have drifted out from $2.65 to $2.85.

Centrebet media chief Neil Evans said the betting momentum has been for the Japanese at home ever since the market was posted last week. The draw has also eased from $3.10 out to $3.15.

Evans said: "I expect the Socceroos, with conjecture over their starting line-up away from home, could even start the match better than $3.00 to win.

"Some of their key players have only just started light training in Yokohama, and in preparation terms, Japan will go in an overwhelming fancy!"
