Barcelona captain Carles Puyol has paid tribute to coach Pep Guardiola, who will leave the club at the end of the season.
Guardiola's announcement on Friday that he would step down from the top job at Barcelona at the end of the season shocked his players, but Puyol is certain the 41-year-old will commit everything to the last few weeks.
"Even now after announcing he is leaving, he goes about in the same way, with the same attitude and the same aim," Puyol said.
"I am sure he will give it all until his final day. That is the important thing.
"I told you, if you had asked me a week ago, I would have bet it all on him staying."
Despite trailing league-leaders Real Madrid by seven points, Barcelona head into Sunday's match against Rayo Vallecano committed to the fight for the La Liga title.
If Real Madrid win and Barcelona lose then Jose Mourinho's side will be crowned champions.
"We are going to try to go on as we always do, go for the win and try to win every match," Puyol said.
"There is still a title on stake, a very beautiful match ahead and that one is going to be the coach's farewell.
"There's a great motivation to win the title but it is even more now as we want to win it for him."
