Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov believes Tottenham's new boss Juande Ramos is the "perfect one".
The 26-year-old striker's future has come under scrutiny since Ramos arrived with Manchester United heavily linked with a move for Berbatov in the January transfer window.
Berbatov's agent met with Damien Comolli last week and Tottenham's sporting director was happy to learn that their £10.9million signing from Bayer Leverkusen was not looking for a move.
Instead, Berbatov hailed the appointment of Ramos as "perfect" for the club.
Berbatov told gong.bg: "My first impression of him is that he's an incredible person.
"As a character, he talks to everybody on the team personally. He is a man who tries hard and he wants to help the team very much. He's the perfect one for the job.
"I've never wished to be the centre of attention, it just happened. I just try to do my job properly."
Tottenham captain Robbie Keane insists their 4-0 demolition of struggling Wigan could be the catalyst for a run that will take them back up the Barclays Premier League.
Tottenham moved into 14th place after Sunday's victory as a double from Jermaine Jenas and Aaron Lennon's fine volley put Spurs into a 3-0 lead at the break.
Darren Bent added a fourth in the second half and it could have been more as Chris Kirkland made two fine saves and Spurs hit the woodwork twice.
Keane said: "We're capable of going on a run and we know if we get a few wins back to back, we can shoot up the league.
"It's great to be away from the bottom three and that will give us confidence as well. It was important with it being a home game and Wigan going into it in the same position as us that we got the three points and the way we did it was full credit to the lads.
"The early goal set us up, we scored another soon after that and didn't take our foot off the gas and that was important.
"We kept going, looked to score more goals and the pleasing factor is winning with another clean sheet. I can't remember Wigan really threatening. But I was impressed with the way we went about it from the first minute to the last."

Tottenham's bid to build a new training centre at Bulls Cross was boosted, after Enfield Council's planning committee approved the application.
The plans will now be referred to the Mayor of London and the Government Office for London for final consideration.
"This decision means that we are one step closer to building a state-of-the-art facility - which will enable us to attract, retain and train world-class talent," said Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
Part of the package tied in with the move will see the club provide £2.3million worth of community coaching.
