SCOTTISH giants Rangers have confirmed a bid has been made to Palermo for Socceroo star Mark Bresciano - but they've yet to hear anything back from the club.
The Ibrox club are believed to have offered around $8m for the player but no deal has yet been completed.
Rangers manager Walter Smith told The Scotsman: "They were on a pre-season tour in Germany last week and there have been problems getting in touch with them.
"We made a bid in the early part of the week but haven't heard anything yet. I don't know what that indicates, other than there is a problem in communication."
