Claudio Ranieri wants his Roma players to focus their attentions firmly on the Coppa Italia and put their impressive victory over Juventus to the back of their minds.
Roma defeated their Serie A rivals 2-1 in front of their own fans on Saturday to move into third in the standings.
And while Ranieri was keen to savour that victory - courtesy of John Arne Riise's 90th-minute winner - at the time, he has already shifted his attention to reaching the final of the cup.
His side face Catania in the quarter-finals tomorrow night and he has called for his side to be at their very best.
"(Losing focus) would mean that we are not yet a team. A strong team must quickly clean up the brain and leave results behind them at once.
"Unless we focus we will not go forward in the Coppa Italia and instead what we want to do is to reach the final."
Luca Toni will not be available having injured his calf against Juve, and with the likes of Francesco Totti, Stefano Okaka Chuko and Mirko Vucinic all short of full fitness, Ranieri may have to compromise in finding a forward line.
Totti was left on the bench at the weekend but was needed after just eight minutes as Toni hobbled off the pitch.
"I did not want Francesco to play (from the start), which he knew," said Ranieri.
"He needs to recover fitness and he is not ready to play three games in a week. Mirko (Vucinic) has taken a few blows and has recovered from a series of ailments but I need people running at Catania because they are in great form. Tomorrow will be a tough game.
"Okaka can play but I don't know yet if he has 90 minutes in his legs."
AC Milan host Udinese on Wednesday evening, with visiting goalkeeper Emanuele Belardi talking up the chances of a potential shock.
Belardi told www.udinese.it: "In the cup against Milan it will be a tough and difficult game, but in a one-off match anything can happen even if we are up against the second team in the league away from home.
"We will do our best to go through because it would mean a path to the semi-finals which would be a nice breath of fresh air."
