Three points against mid-table Mallorca at the Bernabeu will see Madrid crowned champions, while a draw or a defeat would leave David Beckham and Co needing similar slip-ups from title rivals Barcelona and Sevilla.

Madrid certainly appear to have everything going their way heading into the clash, though.

They have taken 28 points from a possible 33 in their last 11 games, losing just once, while they have won six on the trot in front of their own fans.

On top of that they will have Brazilian duo Robinho and Marcelo, Argentinian pair Fernando Gago and Gonzalo Higuain, plus Mali midfielder Mahamadou Diarra, all available.

The quintet all looked like they might be absent for the match due to international commitments, but have been given clearance by their respective federations to face Mallorca.

With Beckham also proving his fitness after an ankle problem it is all looking good for Madrid, but coach Capello is determined to keep his side concentrated on the task in front of them

"We are all very happy, but we have to be very careful. My main job has been making sure we are totally focused," he said on Saturday.

"It's been psychological work to make sure we don't go into the match wanting to score a lot of goals right away. What is important is playing a serious match."

Capello has named a 19-man squad for the encounter, with injury victims Miguel Torres, Alvaro Mejia, Antonio Cassano and Raul Bravo all absent, along with suspended defender Ivan Helguera.

Of those five, though, only Torres would have been pushing for a starting berth against Mallorca.

Capello, who admits he hopes this is not his final match in charge at the Bernabeu amid on-going speculation about his future at the club, hopes Madrid's supporters can help his side finish the season in style.

"We all have a great feeling because we know the title is in play. We need the fans' support because you never know what may happen. We have trained well. We are enthused and focused, and that's what I like to see," he said.

While it is not yet known whether Capello will be here next year, it is certain senior stars Beckham and Roberto Carlos will not be as they embark on new adventures in America and Turkey, respectively.

Regarding Beckham, Capello admits the former England captain has played a crucial role in the club's recent title charge.

"He has been and is a great player, but the last few months he has recovered his mental and physical condition and without doubt he is among the best players that I have trained in my life. He can't take a step back now," the Italian said.

Madrid are firm favourites to down Mallorca on Sunday, but the Balearic Island side showed the threat they pose last weekend when they dented Sevilla's hopes of winning the title by holding the UEFA Cup holders to a goalless draw.

Mallorca have also picked up 10 points from their last six visits to the Bernabeu, losing just twice, and Madrid centre-back Helguera warned his team-mates: "Mallorca are a good side and will make life difficult for us. We must put nerves aside and play as we have been doing recently."

Mallorca defender Fernando Navarro is also confident of an upset.

"We will go there with confidence and motivation. Personally, I hope Barcelona win the league, because that means we will have got a good result on Sunday," he said.

Argentinian midfielder Ariel Ibagaza is suspended for this match, while Serbian Bosko Jankovic is also unavailable to coach Gregorio Manzano as he is on international duty.
