Transfer speculation linking Madrid with Manchester United winger Ronaldo and AC Milan playmaker Kaka has been ongoing since last summer, and Mijatovic admits both players would be welcome additions to the Spanish giants' squad.

Mijatovic also believes both Ronaldo and Kaka will one day be seen wearing the famous white shirt of Madrid, but the former Yugoslavia international concedes it may take some time for that to happen.

"Who would not want to go for these two footballers? Any big team in the world would want them, but there has to be good planning," he said.

Neither United nor Milan appear willing to sell their prize assets, with both players currently under contract until at least 2010.

Kaka penned a new deal with Milan late last year that ties him to the Italian club until 2011, while United are currently in talks about extending Ronaldo's contract for another two years, until 2012.

"They are two great footballers who would surely do very well for us, but we know they have contracts and we know they do not have buy-out clauses," Mijatovic added.

"We know that much depends on the will of the players and the clubs where they play.

"There is the need to try and get one, or both to come here because they will help us achieve our objectives, but also you need to know that there will need to be many negotiations to bring them here."

Regarding a possible swoop for Ronaldo, Mijatovic added on Spanish radio station Onda Cero: "If he wants to come and Madrid want him and if Manchester United say he can go, then it would happen straight away.

Kaka was linked with a move to Spain during last last summer's presidential elections at Madrid, when eventual winner Ramon Calderon pledged to bring the Brazilian ace to the Bernabeu if he was successful.

However, no move materialised, and Mijatovic admits it is unlikely to be any easier to bring the 24-year-old to Madrid this summer.

"He plays with a team who do not want to let him go," Mijatovic said.

"This year it is also going to be difficult and next year as well.

"But I think that sooner or later Kaka, like Cristiano Ronaldo, will end up playing at Real Madrid because this is the most important club in the world and any player wants to come here."
