New Ajax striker Miralem Sulejmani insists he is not worried by the hefty price tag on his head after becoming the most expensive player in Dutch football history.
The 19-year-old, who has two international caps for Serbia, sealed a 16.5million euros move from Heerenveen last week but will not let that distract him at his new club.
"I am not concerned by such things," he told www.ajax.nl.
"I don't even know the exact figures of the transfer. I am a football player and I only want to think about football."
Sulejmani's main aim now is to help his new team win the Eredivisie.
"The club has a beautiful history and many big players have played here: (Marco) Van Basten, (Dennis) Bergkamp, (Johan) Cruyff," he said.
"When I was about 12 years old I posed for photos wearing an Ajax shirt. My target now is to help Ajax become Dutch champions.
"I really don't dare to say how many goals I will score. I just want to become important to the team."
