The New York side, leading the MLS Eastern Conference after four games of the 2010 season, opened their 25,000-seater Red Bull Arena in March with an exhibition match against Brazilian club Santos, beating them 3-1 and now they have lined up Juventus.

"Since opening Red Bull Arena, we have been committed to bringing in elite clubs from around the world to play in what we consider to be the best soccer-specific stadium in North America," said Red Bulls managing director Erik Stover.

"With its storied history and multiple championships, Juventus certainly fit in with this vision. They are a prestigious club with a tremendous following around the world and we are excited to host them at our brand new home."

Red Bull Arena is also set to host rugby's Churchill Cup final in June and a four-team soccer tournament in July with major European clubs promised as competition for a New York team led by Juan Pablo Angel.

Juventus are not the only side making a post-season visit to the United States. AC Milan are scheduled to play DC United at Washington DC's RFK Stadium on May 26.
