Mooy scored the winner in Huddersfield Town's 1-0 victory over Newcastle. The midfielder was the man of the match in the Terriers second straight Premier League win.

Huddersfield currently sit in second on on the EPL table, behind league leaders Manchester United.

Redknapp, a pundit on Sky Sports, hailed Mooy's display on Sunday.

"One player stood head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch and it was Aaron," he said.

"He's a thinking man's footballer. Every time the ball came to him he had a picture of what he wanted to do.

"You can look at poor defending all day long but that goal shoes how good a footballer he is and he's going to be so at home in the Premier League.

"He was so much better than anyone else."

Mooy and Huddersfield take on Southampton this Saturday.
