Reinaldo will hope to see history repeat itself when he returns to Hindmarsh Stadium two years on from scoring the goal which ultimately helped the club to their first finals appearance.

Two years ago the Brazilian striker scored a stunning volley to ignite a run of good form which catapulted the club near the top of the table where they stayed for the remainder of the A-League 2007/08 season.

Having overcome the hamstring strain which kept him out of last weekend's draw against Newcastle, Reinaldo will have the chance to once again come toRoar's rescue.

"It's feeling very good today at training and I'm ready to play against Adelaide on Friday night," he said. "I have already scored some goals (against Adelaide) and I think at this moment I have to try to score again because we have to start to win games.

"At this stage we have been playing well but we have lost four games and drew the last the last one against Newcastle and we have to start to win to get the confidence back."

Historically, Roar have struggled for goals against the Reds but Reinaldo said there was every reason to remain positive for tomorrow's match.

"We have been struggling in the last games but we have a good team to change this position," he said.

"We have been training very well and the coach has (brought) a lot of confidence to us. We just have to put into practice what we train here."

Roar coach Ange Postecoglou will monitor Reinaldo at a training session in the South Australian capital today, but was confident he would be fit to play.

Postecoglou said the Brazilian's attacking prowess would be a welcome addition after they struggled to break down the Jets last weekend.

"Last week it was the area where we struggled a bit in the front third," the Brisbane boss said.

"Certainly having someone like him coming back is going to help us in that.

"They (Adelaide) are a tough nut to crack at home but with Serge (Sergio van Dijk) and Reinaldo up front I think we can have a pretty decent crack at them. "
