PSV Eindhoven striker Jonathan Reis has been demoted to the reserves because of his poor attitude.
The 19-year-old Brazilian joined the club a year ago but his first season was marred by ill-discipline and a foot injury.
He removed the plaster cast from his foot without the permission of PSV's medical staff and the problem returned.
Coach Huub Stevens told newspaper Eindhovens Dagblad: "We warned him already quite a while ago. We had planned a CAT scan to investigate the injury but he didn't show up.
"He needs to show us with Jong PSV if he understands what professional football is about."
