Indonesian media is reporting that former Socceroo Mitch Nichols has signed with a top-flight Indonesian club.
Nichols was pictured in a Persela Lamongan shirt after recently being released from Perth Glory.
The 28-year-old midfielder made 13 appearances for Perth Glory this season in a stint scuppered by injury.
On February 20, his contract was mutually terminated due to 'family reasons'.

The move is somewhat surprising for the former Socceroo, who was rumoured to be seeking a move to Europe after a successful stint with Western Sydney Wanderers.
An arrest for cocaine possession scuppered those plans, leading to Nichols signing with Glory. Persela Lamongan are based in East Java and finished 14th in last season's Indonesian Liga 1.
