Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery came off second best in a training ground mishap with team-mate Bastian Schweinsteiger on Wednesday.
The pair were involved in match simulation when the France international lost control of the ball, with Schweinsteiger responding with a reckless challenge that caught Ribery on the shin.
The 29-year-old winger hobbled to the sidelines, where he was treated by Bayern medical staff.
Ribery has started 14 Bundesliga matches this term, scoring four goals.
Bayern, who lead the German top flight by 11 points from Bayer Leverkusen, are preparing for their away trip to Mainz on Saturday.
