Marseille and Bayern Munich are to continue talks over Franck Ribery's proposed switch to the Allianz Arena.
Initial discussions have already taken place, and officials from the clubs will meet again later this week with a view to completing a 25million euro (£17million) transfer.
A statement on the Marseille website, www.om.net, read: "The executives of the two clubs have agreed to meet again in the next few days to confirm a possible agreement over the player's transfer to Bayern Munich.
"If an agreement is found, OM will authorise Franck Ribery to undergo a medical that is needed for him to sign."
