Midfielder Matthew Ridenton was stretchered off the pitch with a suspected ACL during Wellington Phoenix's clash with Melbourne Victory on Sunday.
Finals-chasing Phoenix started brightly with Roly Bonevacia opening the scoring on nine minutes before Ridenton fell awkwardly in a challenge and clutched his right knee.
The 21-year-old, who tangled with Victory's Daniel Georgievski, was taken from the pitch on 17 minutes with his team still iin the lead. Bonevacia scoring his second soon after.

Fox Sports reported that Ridenton will fly back to New Zealand with the team tomorrow and undergo scans.
Last week the All White scored in Wellington's 5-0 thumping of Newcastle Jets.
