Former World Player of the Year Rivaldo netted a second-half winner as Bunyodkor battled from behind twice to down Locomotive 3-2 on Friday.
Bunyodkor, who changed their name from Kuruvchi in mid-season, were in danger of suffering their first defeat of the domestic season as Locomotive twice took the lead in the first half.
El'or Jahonov's 12th minute opener was cancelled out by Bunyodkor skipper Server Djeparov in the 33rd minute but Marsel Idiatullin restored the home side's lead a minute before the interval.
However, Djeparov levelled the score once again with his second of the game in the 58th minute and Rivaldo struck seven minutes later to give the Swallows their 19th win in 22 games.
With the win, Bunyodkor moved up to 60 points, four ahead of Pakhtakor who have won six consecutive titles.
