BRISBANE Roar coach Ange Postecoglou wants experienced players in the off-season to bolster his youthful squad after the Queenslanders ended their season with a 2-0 defeat.
The Roar went behind early to the Glory on Saturday, but had their chances to reply before Scott Bulloch killed off the match midway through the second-half.
Postecoglou rued his sides lack of potency in attack.
"We just didn't have the quality in the right areas to capitalise on the possession we had and the chances we created.
"We were just lacking that quality in the front third."
And he continued he felt adding some experience to his squad could rectify that problem.
"We just need some experience in the team, that's all," Postecoglou said.
"I thought Tommy Oar, (Adam) Sarota and (Luke) DeVere were excellent again today and they're going to be fantastic players for us. And Henrique is starting to look a little bit more dangerous.
"We just need some experience to help those guys out and that's what we're focusing on in terms of our recruitment."
Postecoglou concluded about his side which finished the season in second-last: "I'm confident next year we'll be a different side."
