BRISBANE Roar warmed up for their mouthwatering clash against Scottish giants Celtic with a 2-1 win over Brisbane Strikers in a behind closed doors clash at Ballymore.
Frank Farina's men had to recover from going a goal down with Chey Hews putting the Strikers ahead in the opening period.
The A-League side fought back to level matters though with Brazilian import Henrique firing into the back of the net.
Mitch Nichols then went close for Roar but the goal that decided this behind closed doors clash went to Andrew Packer. Henrique teed up his teammate from the right with Packer firing home from just inside the box.
In other Roar news, the club has yet to confirm it but Robbie Kruse looks a strong candidate to fill the role of injury replacement for broken leg victim Mass Murdocca.
