Young Australian midfielder Aiden O'Neill has become the latest player to join Robbie Fowler's Brisbane Roar, signing on a season-long loan from Burnley.
The 20-year-old, who played for Central Coast Mariners last season, has joined on a season-long loan from English Premier League side Burnley.
O'Neill is the eighth player announced by Roar this week as ex-Liverpool star Robbie Fowler rebuilds the squad following a disastrous 2018/19 season.
An Australian under-23 international, O'Neill made 23 appearances for the Mariners last season, scoring four goals and claiming the club's player of the season award.
Born in Brisbane, O'Neill said it was exciting to be returning to his hometown for Fowler's first stint as a full-time head coach.
"It's a great opportunity to play under Robbie who had such an immense career," O'Neill said.
"He called me and told me about his plans for the club. It was something I was really excited to be involved in."
The club has also landed 27-year-old midfielder Brad Inman following his release from English lower league club Rochedale.
Inman, who has represented Scotland at under-19 and under-21 level, was an unused substitute in the Socceroos 2-1 friendly loss to England in 2016 and will be playing in the A-League for the first time.
Defender Jacob Pepper, 27, has also signed a new deal with Roar, committing himself to a fourth season with the club.
The full squad so far is:
Goalkeepers: Jamie YOUNG
Defenders: Tom ALDRED, Daniel BOWLES, Macaulay GILLESPHEY, Jack HINGERT, Jake MCGING, Connor O'TOOLE, Aaron REARDON
Midfielders: Brad INMAN, Stefan MAUK, George MELLS, Aiden O'NEILL, Jacob PEPPER
Attackers: Aaron AMADI-HOLLOWAY, Roy O'DONOVAN, Dylan WENZEL-HALLS
