Brisbane Roar and Central Coast’s pre-season preparations has been hampered after their friendly on Saturday was called off due to inclement weather.
Rain lashed Spencer Park in the Brisbane suburb of Newmarket on Saturday, leaving large puddles on the surface, with 3pm kick-off initially delayed for 20 minutes.
The kick-off was pushed back a further 40 minutes, before the decision was eventually made to abandon the match, despite a healthy crowd in attendance.

Both clubs were knocked out of the FFA Cup in the Round of 32, meaning the abandonment is a setback to their A-League preparations.
