AUSSIE youngster Rocky Visconte has offered praise to Scottish club Hearts after leaving the Edinburgh outfit for Brisbane Roar last week.
The 20-year-old left-winger, who was capped at under-20 level by Australia, failed to make a major impact during his three and a half years at Hearts making only a handful of first-team appearances.
Nevertheless, Visconte felt positive about his time in Scotland, where he was one of a number of young Aussies at Hearts, including Ryan McGowan and Matthew Park.
"I have had a very enjoyable time here at Hearts and I would like to wish the club all the best," he told the club's official website.
"There are so many good people and I have made a lot of good friends in my time at Tynecastle.
"It will be a wrench to leave but I have been offered a year's deal at Brisbane Roar and have decided to go for it.
"The highlight of my time has to be my debut in Aberdeen. I have no regrets and will miss Hearts."
