NORTH Queensland Fury's James Robinson said the draw with Brisbane Roar felt 'like a loss' while visiting boss Frank Farina admitted his side had been flat in Townsville.
Robbie Fowler's early strike looked like being enough to give Fury their first A-League win until a Sergio Van Dijk shot was deflected home late on by Mitch Nichols.
Fury's Robinson said: "It feels like a bit of a loss, to do so well and for them to get that goal off a deflection.
"To absorb all of that pressure in the second half was fantastic and that shows the team spirit of the boys."
Coach Ian Ferguson hailed the way his team had battled so well and for so long with a man down.
"It was again a fantastic and gutsy performance given that we were down to 10 men for an hour," he said.
Roar coach Frank Farina said he was disappointed with the performance of his side, although he was delighted to have secured a point on the road.
"We were flat tonight," Farina said. "But I'll take that point any day of the week.
"We're a better side than what we showed tonight and we have to play better than that."
